Edward T. Rizzuti joined Alamo Group Inc. as Vice President, General Counsel in July 2015. Over the years, he has taken on additional responsibilities, serving as Secretary from May 2018 and being promoted to Executive Vice President in November 2021. With his extensive background in legal matters, compliance, and corporate governance in renowned global companies, Mr. Rizzuti plays a vital role in supporting Alamo Group's pursuit of its business objectives in a dynamic economic and regulatory environment.
In his capacity as advisor to the CEO, senior management team, and other business leaders, Mr. Rizzuti oversees the company's legal affairs, covering areas such as corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, SEC reporting, dispute resolution/litigation, corporate compliance, employment, and intellectual property. His expertise and guidance are instrumental in ensuring that Alamo Group operates in accordance with legal requirements while fostering a culture of ethical conduct.
Before joining Alamo Group, Mr. Rizzuti served as Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary for Erickson Incorporated, a publicly traded aircraft manufacturing and operating company headquartered in Portland, Oregon, from 2010 to 2015.
Mr. Rizzuti holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Rutgers University.
