Kevin Thomas joined Alamo Group in 2022 and was appointed Executive Vice President of the Industrial Equipment Division in 2024. In this role, Mr. Thomas leads the Company’s Industrial Equipment Division, with responsibility for driving operational performance, commercial growth, innovation, and strategic execution across its businesses.
Mr. Thomas initially joined Alamo Group as Vice President of the Excavator and Vacuum Truck Group, where he provided leadership across Super Products, Gradall Industries, and Rivard. His experience leading these businesses and advancing operational and commercial initiatives positioned him to assume broader responsibility for the Industrial Equipment Division.
Prior to joining Alamo Group, Mr. Thomas served as President of Navistar Defense LLC. During more than two decades with Navistar International, he held progressively senior leadership roles spanning engineering, program management, business operations, and executive management. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions with General Dynamics Land Systems Division and General Motors Truck Group.
Mr. Thomas brings extensive experience in global manufacturing, engineering, operational leadership, strategic planning, and business transformation. As Executive Vice President, he is responsible for advancing the performance and long-term growth of Alamo Group’s Industrial Equipment businesses while strengthening execution across the division.
Mr. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lawrence Institute of Technology.
