Kevin Thomas joined Alamo Group in February 2022 as the Vice President of the Excavator and Vacuum Truck Group within the Industrial Equipment Division. In August 2024, Kevin was promoted to Executive Vice President of the Industrial Equipment Division, reflecting his outstanding leadership and contributions to the company. In his expanded role, Kevin now oversees the entire Industrial Equipment Division, continuing to drive innovation and operational excellence across all business units.
Kevin initially managed three key operating companies: Super Products in Wisconsin, Gradall Industries in Ohio, and Rivard in France. His leadership and strategic vision have been instrumental in advancing these businesses and aligning them with Alamo Group's broader objectives.
Before joining Alamo Group, Kevin served as President of Navistar Defense LLC, where he led the organization since 2015. His career at Navistar International began in 1999, where he held progressively senior roles, including Director of Engineering, Director of Blue Diamond Truck LLC, and Director of Program Management for Navistar Defense, before being appointed President. Prior to his tenure at Navistar, Kevin gained invaluable leadership experience at General Dynamics Land Systems Division and General Motors Truck Group.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lawrence Institute of Technology. Kevin is committed to driving continuous improvement, growth and excellence across the Industrial Equipment Division, ensuring that Alamo Group continues to lead in these specialized markets.
