Robert P. Hureau serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Alamo Group Inc., assuming the role in September 2025. Mr. Hureau has several decades of executive leadership experience and brings a proven track record of scaling complex businesses, driving operational excellence, and delivering sustained shareholder value.
Before joining Alamo Group, Mr. Hureau was Chief Executive Officer of American Trailer World (ATW), a leading manufacturer and retailer of trailers, truck equipment, and aftermarket parts. During his tenure, he successfully merged and integrated two businesses to form ATW, completed multiple strategic acquisitions, led the divestiture of its aftermarket parts distribution unit, and cultivated a company culture focused on innovation, performance, and quality.
Mr. Hureau’s previous experience also includes executive leadership roles in both private and public companies. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPD), a global clinical research organization, and as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Sensata Technologies, a global industrial manufacturer of highly engineered sensors and controls.
In addition to his corporate roles, Mr. Hureau has held board positions with several prominent organizations. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for American Trailer World and previously served as Audit Chair and Board Member at US LBM, a leading distributor of specialty building materials. In addition, Mr. Hureau also has and continues to serve on several advisory boards at ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness arm of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
